Best, Jim

Now, more than ever, one wishes for the animated yellow face with the upraised middle finger.

No, no. Have fun. I'll be shoveling my brother-in-law's sidewalk tomorrow at this time.

4 degrees f. this morning. I'll be ice fishing by Sunday and couldn't be happier.

Guess Nathan is getting a lot of snow tonight.

we have 3 inches with icy-snow-rain coming down (I am 90 miles west of VLM)

I don't leave the house. Folks just don't do the driving in snow thing down here. Almost got killed doing that once.

Pop's Backdoor delivery pizza and a bottle of Montesecondo.

Not exactly St. Bart's, but it will do.

We are supposed to get 1 to 2 feet of snow tomorrow, but if we beat Texas it will be ok.

And it's probably too hot on the beach to enjoy wine anyway...

But it's the perfect temperature to enjoy rum based fruity drinks with tiny umbrellas in them.

It really is beautiful outside (here in Philly; dunno what it's like back in Boston), especially because I don't have to shovel. At least people here know how to drive in it. I've had a few experiences like VLMs, like newbie day on Disorder but armed with speeding metal. Never again.

No ice fishing, but there might be Garces later. If the restaurant doesn't close early, which they're saying they might. Mmmm, tongue tacos.

The snow has begun. The short ribs are in the oven. Polishing off the last of the Domaine Catherine Le Goeuil, Cairanne

Hope you enjoy and are in Center City. I'm not enjoying the shoveling but it is beautiful.
