Surprisingly alive Chateauneuf, opened for a friend's 50th. Nice acidic thrust, very savory. Certainly an old school long foudre aged CdP in the vein of Bonneau or Cuvee Laurence. I wasn't sure if this would be alive in any way but it was, very. I wonder if the old style of long foudre sojourn give these wines very long legs. Another nice wine at Christmas.
