At risk of incurring the wrath of the assembled,

I prefer the Pinon 06 non-dose over either the 01 or 02 Huet Petillant!

There, I said it! I feel free!

I would send wrath your way, but your kind remark on the inane politburo post was quite nice, so I am torn.

ETA: Oh, scrap that, it wasn't BJ, it was Bwood. So: wrath!

Nah.

Foreau on the other hand is just about there; a recent bottle (lot L2041) was stunning. Anyone know how to translate his lot numbers?

I have had both Huet Petillant 2001 and 2002 in the last week, and Pinon sparklers in the past. I can see why you would say that BJ.

It's a different style.

I am guessing many folks have not had the treat of the 06 ND, it is so lovely and fine. A different animal than the regular Pinon. And a different animal indeed than the Huet.

No, it's great. The big surprise for me was how well it sold to civilians. Its charms were widely appreciated.

I noticed that too. Everyone loved it.

It's probably gone by now. We went through our case in less than six months - but it came on market roundabout last Spring, I think?

Seems like Chambers would have had it.
