With a prosciutto sandwich from the Italian place upstairs in Chelsea Market it's lush with good balancing acidity and a hint of mushroom. Without the sandwich the acidity sticks out. The wine is still enjoyable but the acidity is distracting.

Still young in flavor (though browning around the edges), I'll try to give it a year before opening another bottle and certainly have it with food.
