1999 Mt. Mary Quintet

Anyone tried Torzi Matthews? Their vineyards are pretty high up and elevage (apassimento with indigenous yeasts) is a little different form the norm (tho perhaps more wood than most folks here would care to see). The Frost Dodger had a distinct funkiness though that I thought was refreshingly different. Would like to try their riesling.

Love their Schist Rock Shiraz. Fantastic wine (and one of the few where Garagiste's hype actually was somewhere close to the mark).

I'd like to try that, Salil....I'm not sure the appassimento approach is all that necessary, so that would make for a good comparison.
