Terroir

Thanks to everyone who came out.

(Except Ian, who still needs to pay)

Sorry I was a little late, but I was convinced the place did not exist and was only invented for the internet. Instead, there were real, professional actors and fantastic sets emulating a wine bar and shop in the times of the Blade Runner.

John's (the guy who plays the owner "luc") French accent has come a long way since the set was created.

Thanks for stopping by. I was convinced you were merely an SFJoe construct so he didn't seem to be showing off so much.

Lineup with SFJoe, Fatboy and .sasha:
2008 Overnoy Poulsard
1988 Valentin Bouchotte Savigny-les-Beaune
1946 Huet Le Mont demi-sec
2000 Overnoy Savignin

How was the '08 Overnoy?

Singing. The longer it sits still, the better it gets. The 2000 was like getting slapped in the face in a very SOMA consensual-what's-you-safe-word way.

Thanks. There's a bar here that has it and I'm just itching to get at it.

Side note: I worked on a spot once where one of the lines was "You're going to need a safe word... And it'd shouldn't be 'more'". Every time I hear "safe word" that's what I think of and it makes me laugh.
