2008 Ah! Wines "Bebame" Red Wine, made by Steve E from El Dorado fruit (65% CF; 35% Gamay), bright and bouncy, cheery, Gamayish with some heft and a bit of leafy goodness. Clean, smooth tannins, just enough acid for versatility with food. Probably the most fun in a young bottle of wine since the Causse Marines Marcillac and at $16 a bottle a no brainer.

no BD involved in this wine. Don't know where that info comes from, Mark. But I'm glad you liked the wine.

My bad, Steve. I thought that Alice F mentioned that on her blog, but I see now that she was talking about another, yet unreleased wine made from BD Mendo fruit. Fix0red.
