The needle & the Damijan

Can't say much about his acoustic playing...it's passable, I guess, but he does give Old Blacky a good, crusty whack now and then that I like. He lacks the polish of Keith Richards tho.

Yeah ok, now this is easy to say, but can we rely on you to honor it? You know, should the opportunity arise.
It's hard to tell the two experiences apart, to be honest. But if you can assemble the ingredients, I'll give it a shot, should the need arise.

I see, I didn't know you were speaking from experience.

The songwriting made the career. Like Townshend, what is missing as far as "technical" skill is made up for with sheer passion and intensity. I don't think Richards seeks to do onstage what they do.

Definitely your best pun thread title ever. You'll never outdo this one. Might as well just go with "a tale of two something-or-others" from now on.

Regarding Neil Young as an aural experience, I'd rather have my eardrums pierced by a syphillitic slime mold wielding a gangrene-encrusted cattle prod than listen to him "singing" or "playing" guitar.

This from a Rush fan!?!?!?

Well, you won't hear me defending Geddy's voice, even though it has become almost tolerable in his wine-soaked dotage.

Oh, I doubt that. Maybe the best one I've used here, though. I mean, I don't even have to go back a month for "Lieder of the pack" for a Maximin Grnhauser (not everyone will get that one right away), and mostly I get my wordplay ya-yas out over here so I only have to subject the Disorderlies to a small percentage of the verbal carnage. But thanks anyway.
