The kind folk at CWS handed me a glass of something and asked my opinion. I asked them why they were trying to poison me. Rich, heavy, oaky, tastes like expensive chocolatey oak. Turned out to be a 2001 Peter Michael 'Les Pavots'
Needing something I could actually drink with my dinner I opened a bottle of 2007 Clos Roche Blanche Cot. After pouring some for myself I brought the bottle over to them yelling "Repent! Repent!" The wine itself was nice enough at first then quickly shut down for about 20 minutes. Then it opened into a soft perfumed light weight beauty.
