Luc and I opened a few 2002s tonight to check out where they are at. Pure disappointment. Both the 2002 Thevenet vire-clesse and the Foreau 2002 sparkling had heartburn acidity profiles. We were hoping the Foreau had shades of Huet 02, but no such luck. The less said about the Thevenet the better. So, if you are planning to open any 2002s tonight, do what we did and buy some beer instead.
