"DeLoach vineyard is Demeter certified
The 17-acre estate vineyard and garden at DeLoach Vineyards, Russian River Valley, became one of only 64 wineries or vineyards worldwide to achieve Biodynamic certification."

can this number be true? only 64 wineries worldwide!?!?!

This includes all farms, but still.

I have a processing/distibuting business that s certified organic... I can assume it is in the same vein. Mostly just necessitates designating equipment for sole use in handling certified products, maintaining paperwork and certification for producers whose products you handle, and annual sales audits to track and match product inputs with sales. Oh, and yes, they are interested in what you clean with and how you control pests in your storage space.

This sounds sarcastic? If so I don't understand.

"designating equipment for sole use in handling certified products" as in kosher households where there are two kitchens, one for meat and one for cheese.
