So Friday the 22nd right?
Yes.

So it appears that tommorow night will be my last night at Terroir. Stop by and see me if you're in town. Best of luck to Dagan and Luc.
They finally caught on, eh?

Just in case you're serious, Luc and Dagan have known what I was planning for awhile, but the law will not allow me to work there for licensing reasons.

And anyway, I didn't mean *that* stuff. You know, the other thing.

Seriously though Luc and Dagan have been more accomodating than anyone can expect, and mt hat is off to both of them.

Also on Folsom St. we're pretty open about that *stuff*

Don't tell?

Sorry to hear that you won't be there when I stop by in March, Cory. I'll buy you a glass of something, though, if you want to stop by anyway.

Would you mind elaborating? Is there a conflict of interest if you're employed by both an importer and retailer? Seems rather odd to me (then again, much of what the ABC does is odd...)

Basically, if they don't nip this in the bud, Cory takes over the world and starts kneecapping the competition just like some big distributors that it's best not to name.

Spot on, although a couple of kneecaps have already been done in as a "warning."

Actually what Larry said. There van't exist any relationship in California between retailers and importers, except Kermit who was grandfathered in.

Well, I feel safer now that I know he is effectively prevented from using Terroir to induce intemperate
use of his imports.

There are others, too, e.g., Wine House.

Does Wine House import their own items? I just thought it was the local retail hot spot for Bobby Kacher imports. K&L direct imports many wines, too.
