What an odd wine this is. Hidden among all the powerful sweet wines of 1990 from Huet is this sec. Can't call it this "little" sec, because it's pretty big.
But so much sun on these northerly chenin grapes: passerill flavors, toasted skins, but close to dry in the finish. Deeper gold than you might expect.
It's not by any means my favorite sec, it's quite atypical, but you can't say it doesn't fairly represent the vintage. Very interesting to have tried, don't need a million of them in the cellar.
