My first Romorantin (hey, mr/ms jaded, stop snickering!). Alluring aromas of lime, chalk and a hint of petrol. Very mineral, the initial burst of sweetness followed by bright acidity and a lovely tartness. At first, and before food, I was distracted by the separation between the sweetness and the acidity, something I associate with acidulation. Anyone know if there's chance of that here? In any case, with food they came together nicely and suspicions gave way to unalloyed pleasure. Satisfying on every level, gotta get more. A lover of undercats & dogs, now I'm going to have to investigate every Romorantin, like I do with Trousseau.
