Actually, only Cory and Scott have claimed he doesn't matter. I think the rest of us, at least those that have posted, disagree in one fashion or another. So really, there are only three posts claiming he doesn't matter. Hence: false conclusion.
 
Well, now I've gotten you to post three times in a thread you claim we shouldn't care about, so my job here is done. (this is where the emoticon would go)

i was not arguing that he does not matter. for many people -- producers, importers, consumers, etc... -- rmp matters in a very real way economically. i was simply saying that we should not be discussing him.
