Louis Jadot Meursault '07
Medium yellow gold.
Medium mostly citrus fruits, pleasant fragrance, could have more personality.
Still youthful, integrated oak, hints of lemons, citrus fruits, mineral background, fair viscosity, zesty, obligable freshness.
Moderate length finish with a citrus profile. [VG]

Served with Gambas al Ajillo, Rice, Sauteed Mixed Vegetables...

obligable freshness.
What does this mean?

Kirk, Yeah, I struggled with that word.

What it was meant to imply was the amount of freshness that might be expected, at a minimum, for a reasonably good Meursault.

My wordsmithing perhaps came up short.

Perhaps other choices might have been "expected" or "unsurprising".

Jeff, Yes, I thought of that. In retrospect, it probably would have been more widely palatable.

Obligable -- Acknowledging, or complying with, obligation; trustworthy.

obligatory -- Morally or legally constraining; binding. Imposing or recording an obligation: a bill

We're at the beach and my attention level is not razor-sharp.
