Antonio Terni of Fatt. Le Terrazze will be pouring here at The Wine Bottega on Tuesday, March 9th from 6-8pm. We will be featuring the Rosso Conero, 2 vintages of Sassi Neri, Chaos, Planet Waves and a new "top secret" wine called Praeludium. This is a free tasting, hope to see some of you located around Boston.
 
It's technically spam, but since Matteo regularly contributes outside the solicitations, and these invitations are valuable to us locals (even if I'm yet to be in the state when the tastings have taken place), I'd like to continue seeing them. Moreover, the Politburo has generously allowed for what I'd term an "it's not spam if we like it" exception in the FAQ, and I would hope that we wouldn't get all persnickety and hairshirted, or else we'll soon find ourselves questioning Levi's dinner invitations, which are also technically spam.

Just my opinion, though.

People on wine boards sometimes get overwrought about commerce.

I think Thor puts it well.

I'm sometimes torn about whether the jeebus board would be better for these, but frankly I can't get too excited about it.
 
Well, the tastings aren't jeebi, so they don't make sense over there on the soccer lovers' discussion group. Levi's dinners...maybe, but I'd just as soon see the jeebus forum reserved for folks getting together non-commercially, plus English Premier League chatter. Commercial posts almost always become CWDs anyway, so why not leave them here?
