So, I read through the whole thread. Forget what brought me here exactly. But I have a feeling our list at the Woodlot might be written for Yixin. As of yet it has no grouping, nor organizing principle. Presumably one will emerge. The Wine-Therapy-inside-joke-and-rebuttal-quip approach.

Or:

Carbonic

Semi-Carbonic

Orange

Ultra-Hipster

VLM Favorites

Not imported into the US by LDM but still good

Really weird shit

I finally made it to Baker & Banker a few weeks ago and was told that Collin was now at Bar Bambino.

I had a couple of glasses of the white Bierzo that Jose Pastor brings in from Mengoba. Lovely wine.

What grape is white Bierzo made from, Slaton? Godello or something more indigenous?

Monvinic in Barcelona has their wine-list on touchscreen, sorted whichever way you choose, with pictures, producer info, etc., etc. It's still not a place I'd return to. But then, I don't own a Kindle either.

I will. Nice wine list...

As will I. Nice people, good wines, reasonable prices, great selection. What's not to love?
