Anybody else loving this wine? Opened my second bottle last night and am having the last 1/3 this eve.
CSW says this is unsulfured. I had not let the 1st bottle some weeks ago go to a second day; or, put another way, it went down too easily and quickly for me to think about saving any. And now I see that I was missing a whole dimension.
Out of the gate, this is delicious but (not surprising for a nouveau) not overly complex; now, seeing the bottle with a day of air (as much as vacu-vin stopper lets in), it is even more opulent -- all blue fruit and violets at first -- and then there is stoney gorgeousness -- wet rocks (gravel road without the car wheels) and crushed raspberries, blackberries and blueberries with a touch of burnt match (phosphorus but yet the wine has no sulfur added?) .
Great, long finish; mouth watering acidity and really many more layers (and more pleasure) today than yesterday. How very nice.
(Hate to say that i was only sipping this while waiting for the '93 Meo Camuzet Clos Vougeot that is supposed to go with dinner to get some air ; we'll see how that fares by comparison.)
