Any Edmonton Wine Store Suggestions?

A friend of mine is having his wedding in Vancouver, but apparently people generally buy wine in Edmonton because the sales taxes are lower there. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good wine store in Edmonton where he can buy good, non-spoofy wines for reasonable prices (preferably under $15 a bottle, but I think he can go up to $20).

Also, he is planning to have Thai food for his wedding reception (cashew chicken, a curry, and pineapple fried rice). Any suggestions? I suggested off-dry riesling and Vouvrays and listed some producers, but I don't know how the pricing in Canada works so I don't know if my suggestions are out of his price range up there.

And if you know of a good red that goes with Thai that would be much appreciated (my mind drew a blank, maybe beaujolais?)

Yeah, but you lose the savings by spending it on the gas for the cross-continental road trip. But maybe they can get a post office truck to haul the wine (a la Seinfeld)?
 
I have to admit this is the first time I've heard of cross-border wine arbitrage inside Canada... I don't know Edmonton that well, but I do know Calgary. J Webb, Metrovino and Kensington are all reputable retailers, with the usual caveat that private imports of wine are a relatively recent development in Canada, and you shouldn't expect the depth of selection you'd find in US cities. Oh, and cross-border shipping is still verboten.

A better bet might be to shop local wineries - Blue Mountain, Tantalus, Wild Goose, Joie and Herder all make interesting, reasonably priced aromatic whites in the Okanagan. Blue Mountain also makes a very nice gamay and entry level pinot noir at that price point.
