This is just a fantastic spring/summer rose. Loaded with watermelon, pink grapefruit and strawberries. It has that "pure fruit" profile that you get from the low/zero sulphur producers - along with the same risks, I'm sure! Bright acids and completely refreshing as well. Who knows what the next bottle will bring but this was great.
 
great stuff, pricey though...

i like his lighter stuff much more than i do the heavier options. the magma is just too much for me.
 
I think mine cost in the mid-$20s from Garagiste. I haven't tried the bigger wines b/c of the price and concerns over stability, etc. A few bottles of the rose seemed like a reasonable experiment.

The Contadino has been the lowest. The 4 was $17 and the 5 and 6 were $19, from Garagiste anyway.

About the same for the 6 here in Japan, when it was here. Hope 7 doesn't go up...much.
