That's a trip down memory lane, having enjoyed quite a few excellent bottles of this in the 80s. But as with most wines, after 40 years aging you are lucky to still have a good wine, IMHO. Click to expand... but not so with the 1970s - the wines are quite young for the most part, with a number of slightly softer ones at their peak IMHO
