bouchard roses de jeanne

at first opening, subtle, dry, mineral, delicious, but a bit closed.

after decant and 10 minutes, opening up nicely. much richer on the nose. a really regal version of yeastiness showing up. also, some nice salinity. but, overall mineral, mineral, mineral. but, a multi layered minerality, backed up by a sense of sweetness, not sugar though. on the tongue, really covers the palate, takes over the mouth, but in no way big or burly. truly 'classy' and elegant and, in a vigorous way, delicate..
