Dressner,
You crack me up.
BTW, I hear Colgin needs a regional manager in Vegas - just in case you think your dismissal is permanent.
Best, Jim

maybe we should have a Shirazathon.

You know, just to liven things up a little.

Don't know if there's a trademark issue, so we could call it a Shirazapalooza. Dressner could bring what's left of that case of Sparky Wine he never finished. It's probably ripe by now.

And is it just me, or does Mark Franks look a little like Young Joe Perry on a really, really bad day?

This is all a bit cringe-worthy, tbh. Looks like a rather earnest guy getting his geek on with wines most of us would not enjoy nearly as much as he does. Leave him to it says I.

This is Mark. Again, he's a good guy. The personal attacks are uncalled for. And against the Politburo FAQ, correct?

By the way, that's not a "blog," that's a website.

What's the difference?

More importantly, what's the motivation of putting up such a nutty web site?

Don't the people realize how goofy it all looks?

It makes you wonder about their judgment.

What type of human beings would knowingly participate in such a project?

I can't speak for the Politburo, but if you leave something up on the internet, you have to expect people to poke a little fun at you.

I make fun of Coad every time I see him.

However, I agree that there is a line between poking fun and mean-spirited.

Interesting. And where would that line be?

Anyway, in my post, I wasn't referring to the Markster, I was actually intending to refer to Sharon's guy, the one with the poleaxed look on his face.

I'm quite sure that this Mark fellow is, like Brian Loring, an all around swell guy. Should I want to have a Shirazathon, I'm sure he would put on a much better one than this sorry crew at Disorder would pull off.

Unless we could do it at Kane's place, I mean. That would be a Shirazathon to remember!
