Real Wine Attack Week is beginning here in Seattle but Eyjafjallajokull is making it very difficult for the vignerons to get out of Italy and France.

Some have arrived, but 21 of them are blocked by Volcanic ash!

Is this a plot of the military-industrial wine complex? How do you explain that there are no volcanic eruptions for Barbera junkets but Marc Ollivier and Thierry Puzelat are marooned in Fleklavik?

The wines are here though and the tastings will go on!

No Jura tasting to conflict with the Dressner tasting any more, though. It's being rescheduled. Also, I heard no Puffeney and no Overnoy at the Jura tasting, whenever it ends up being.

The likelihood of me ending up at 10 Bells on an evening after an LDM tasting seems to approach 100% these days...
