Junketing Alsace, part deuxime

I was surprised by this result, actually. I mean, can people not taste the freshly-brewed packing material in their coffee? Or maybe they...ugh...like it? Are these the same people that think Carlisle is drinkable?

The place we rent in Paris has one of those little baggie coffee makers, which doesn't taste like baggie but also doesn't produce coffee of any interest unless one thinks that Dunkin' Donuts coffee is too strong. I think I'm going to have to purchase a press and a grinder on our next visit, because I don't think I can take much more lousy coffee.
