Monts Damnes and Grande Cote 2007. If you have to drink them now, the Grande Cote is showing better, fresher and more forward. Monts Damnes still sulking after 12 hours of air, unfortunately. However, it's the blend that is really delicious - ripe, round nose and entry, followed through with a real wallop of acid, and plenty of incipient complexity on the finish. Is it worth opening two bottles at once? On the evidence of the last few glasses, yes.
