We went to a local small plate/tapas restaurant and brought in a couple of bottles

1997 Cims de Porrera Classic Priorato, alc 14%...mostly Carignan (from 60-100 year old vines) with some garnacha added....this really blossomed in the glass...kirsch, raspberry and a nuttiness along with cherry wood all appeared...the tannins are still moderate and the overall impression is of a fairly youthful wine....really great with the food...

2000 Francesca Vicent Robert Lo Piot, a blend of 90% Grenache and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon ...dark ruby/purple in the glass... sweet and fruit forward with a very immature appearance...it did open up over the next couple of hours but really not enough to provide the pleasure that I would hope for...hold for quite some time before revisiting
