Opened tonight with pizza, after confronting a badly corked 95 Fortia.

I liked this a decent amount. Completely different deal than a Py, more floral, licorice, much less metallic, Gamay sap. I liked the unique terroir take and can see why Foillard would bottle it separately. This made me think of a Regnie perhaps.

Nice balance, good acid, a nice change, and educational.

Yup, it's more fruit driven for me, but very enjoyable now...almost ordered this off a menu tonight...went with more 06 Briailles Ild Des.

The question is: will it age? I'm not so sure it will.

Briailles is really not a wine to open early. Unlike the Corcelette (I agree with your assessment).
