Renardat-Fche? Cerdon du BuhBye!
Bera? Wouldn't wanna Be-ya! Moscato d'Hasta la vista!
Brun? FRV Sent-home-to-momma!

From the marketing department that brought you Sigma Chi's 2006 "Chicks Dig It" Award winning Bellini and the only strawberry-based cocktail featured in YouTube's "Ruby Red Spew" (as seen in Maxim!) comes the latest "panty-dropper," the Blood Orange Mimosa!

Canella has a long and storied history, but as they point out on their site have only received international fame following that momentous moment when, "n 2002, the worlds most feared and revered wine critic, Robert Parker, awards Canella Prosecco di Conegliano DOC a whopping 89 points!"

Well, Mr. Feared and Revered, better get those superlatives ready, because you've never had anything like THIS before!

On the attack, a Orangina tart bitterness grabs your attention, rounding out to a more orange LifeSaver mid-palate. Plenty of pith plays counterpoint to pewter sugar bowl and freshly-sharpened Crayon. I couldn't measure the finish, as it was impossible to wait that long before putting something else in my mouth! But the taste, and memory, have lingered all day. Believe me, it's not something I'll soon forget!

As an aside, Canella is committed to using the finest ingredients and winery practices and look to Mother Nature whenever possible for solutions, like using insects for natural pest management color enhancement.

Salute!

Well, actually, 7% indicates that it may possibly be a proper Prosecco, unlike some of the Champagne wannabees that we have at 11.5% and above with no r.s.

I'm not sure I'd go so far as "proper," but it is a base of "grape wine." I'd not be too surprised if it was Charmant method due to what they've got in their factory winery, but my bet would be on carbonation.
