Hello......

John DeFiore

John DeFiore
So the Robert Parker board is going subscription only, and all my friends told me to come here to find out about big points wines, Aussie Shiraz and where I can buy Pinot Noir that tastes just like Aussie Shiraz.

OK, just kidding.

Been lurking here for a while, haven't been active on the wine boards in a couple of years, but finally decided to register. I recognize many of the folks here from other boards (but I decided to register anyway).

Hi, everyone.

John

Dude, you don't actually post. Must post a few times before being granted power of anathema.

John, we are, thanks. Likewise.

Yeah, but for him, that's the equivalent of "+1"...the actual abusive newbie greeting would be in Urdu.

We hold two per month. Message Joe Dressner about details.

Joe Dressner messaged the other day that he wanted to be my friend on Facebook. This was the same day that Natalie MacLean did likewise on twitter. Given the Canadian lady's penchant for turning any contact into a marketing opportunity, it dawned on me that the Grand Old(er) Man of the artisanal wine industry was taking a cue from Natalie and is going to begin promoting mass trade tastings.

Be forearmed!

I take it you said No 'cos you don't show among his friends. In fact, you don't show in Facebook at all! A search for Mylunsch produces the regulation My Lunch entries...

Oswaldo, Eden is rather shy about interacting through all those social network sites. However, she did look rather fetching at yesterday's Austria Uncorked tasting in SF.

I thought that the leotard Eden wore at HdR was more outrageous, Larry.
