Served with Smoked Salmon Crostini with Caviar (no photo).

Vernaccia di San Gimignano San Zuirico '07 -- Straw color, clear lemony notes, typical acidity offset with pleasing creaminess (gelato?), very nice food wine.

Served with Butternut Squash Ravioli with Brown Butter & Sage...

Fiano di Avellino Mastroberardino '07 -- Lemony nose, smoky scent, medium complex, citrus notes, some minerality, dash of wood, medium body, ample acidity, good length.

Served with Grilled Alaskan Halibut, Baby Artichokes, Sauteed Spinach & Citrus Caper Sauce...

Palazzo della Torre Allegrini '06 -- Elusive bouquet, subtle/grippy tannins, rich and full fruits, nice length on its finish, rich and full fruit, lovely food wine, still developing.

Chianti Classico Castello di Ama La Casuccia '95 -- Opaque red, faint nose, good balance, medium fruits, bright red cherries, frisky acid.

Calcaia Orvieto Classico Barberani '03 -- Light orange/gold colour, perhaps some raisins, oranges/tangerines, almost tapioca notes, sweet but not intense, medium acidity and length.
