boy, I have trouble enjoying bordeaux these days. I just looked at my consumption report on cellartracker and the only bordeaux I've enjoyed (as opposed to consumed and didn't enjoy) over the past few years is the 1979 Margaux I bought in early 1982 and drank last winter (very balanced and sophisticated), a '66 gruaud, a 375 of 90 gruaud, and a 2000 pavillon rouge. Others I've drunk and thought "eh, I wish I'd opened burgundy" were 89 & 90 Sociando, 85 Leoville Barton (which I used to love), and 82 Ducru - all of them from my cellar and well-stored and opened and served under ideal conditions - but just not to my taste.
