Really quite delicious. Upon opening, a little reticent - very subtle earth shades, hint of leatheriness, very structured, Hermitage. With air, relaxed, more clearly older Syrah tones, nice acids, reassuring. A wine that shows off why the Bordelais brought this stuff in for stuffing. Upright and completely put together.
