MIDTOWNThe good news is Le Bernardin's lauded sommelier Aldo Sohm is teaching a wine seminar at the restaurant. The bad news: it's $295 a head. The class takes place on May 22, covers wines from South America, and includes a dinner where Sohm will goes through pairings step by step. [EaterWire]

Wasn't somebody around here bothered about The French Laundry not carrying wines from Chile? Whoever that was, sounds like a nice event happened for you.
