Non-Tasting Note: 2006 Gilles Bonnefoy La Madone Gamay sur Volcan

$6 closeout pickup. Bright and clean. Full of Gamay-ness. More enjoyable with a light chill and a cleaned-up kitchen than initally at room temp and a messy kitchen. I would have to say that it paired perfectly with a little full-moon bat watching on our back porch.

At $6 I may have to enlist my parents help in cleaning out the suburban Minneapolis store's remaining stocks.

Oui, Cotes du Forez. It was certainly happy times, which most definitely complimented the wine.
