They serve wine during our department meetings and I never ever drink them.

Most people know that I like wine so they might find it funny. But then I never eat the food served at these meetings either.

I should add that the main reason I don't drink wine during afternoon meetings is that as a junior faculty I actually have to get back to work afterwards!

Some of my senior colleagues aren't burdened with the same affliction.
