when you move to Inwood.
Namely, Don Rice may bring over a Welcome-Wagon bottle of 1985 Huet Clos du Bourg Vouvray Moelleux.
My only previous experience with this wine was two bottles I bought in Rennes during summer 2008. They weren't bad, but they weren't great either as they leaned too heavily on the sugar but without a rich texture to match.
This bottle showed much better, as it opened with air to provide a tannic but round and luscious frame to support all that dark brown golden sugary fruit. Not a grand wine (I guess that's due to the vintage?) but a lovely way to be welcomed.
