CWD: 06 Bryce Ribbon Ridge PN

Stephen South
2006 Bryce Vineyard Pinot Noir..a Pinot from Willamette from the Ribbon Ridge vineyard, alc 14.7%, $40: Burgundian nose..earth, a little smoke and leaves..seriously rich on the palate with no overt sweetness but a rich black fruit impression..great structure and a long smooth descrendo finish..
I've had wines from Bryce for 3 or 4 vintages and this is the very best so far.

On the back label: 2 vines/bottle, 1.58 tons/acre, 22.9 hl/ha

(BTW, the "Bryce" of the label died in '06 from a neurologic disorder)
