And other Champagne shills. Anyone tasted from either of these producers?

Marie Nolle Ledru in Ambonnay
Brabant-Gosset in Ay

I likes me some Ledru. Very Ambonnay. Less expensive than Egly.

The Extra Brut (which she matures longer, looking for more developed character to complement the lower RS) is where it is at. I poured it through all of this last winter.

She hand riddles. It is a small operation.

He poured it for me. I can attest to that.

Ledru is fantastic, and that applies across the range. Personal favourites: 1999 Brut Nature and 2004 Goulte' (the latter one of the best BdN I've had and, to my palate, better than Egly's).
Gosset-Brabant are very good, but I don't particularly seek out their wines, probably because I already have too many other favourites in that general area.

Thanks, will get me some and report back.

From Greg? Got an offer this AM, too. Sounded like I would like them.

Dude I live in HK now. Bad pricing but one has to have champagne in the fridge. V et S Argile today - oh yes. '02 Cristal recently really nice and elegant; also Larmandier-Bernier R de S today but a bit off.

Just looked at the list and they only have the '02 Nature, '05 GC (I'm guessing this is the dosed version) and '04 C de Goulte.

And the vintage Vilmart Grand Cellier 2000. Damn that's mighty fine wine.
