2007 Emmanuel Houillon Poulsard Arbois Pupillin Maison Pierre Overnoy..alc 12.5%...the palest of red in the glass..a little murky...twigs/earth on the nose...quite savory on the palate with no sweetness really showing...great texture....like a well made broth....so very old world that it is unmistakable...A true joy

Damn. I knew I would regret not getting any of this.

This wine is amazing. I had a bottle in Beaune that erased most of the memories of the horridness that is andouilette right out of my mouth.

Anyone want to trade a bottle of 2007 Houillon Arbois for a bottle of 2007 Allemand Cornas Reynard?

Let's get together. I'll bring the Overnoy, you can bring the Allemand. We can get other people to bring other things. No need to engage in mercenary activity. I promise not to use the word "correct."

Just had this with lunch today. Astounding. Light yet complex, opening up deliciously over the course of a long meal.

Great company I was with, too.
