so i replaced my HD in my macbook. 2 days later i get the gray folder with the flashing question mark. clean install didn't work. i guess, it's ram or battery. really curious about this or other possibilities. any macfreaks out there?

Our local Mac guru had this advice that I hope is helpful:

Flashing question mark means that it cannot find a suitable OS to boot from. I would boot from another disc, such as the install DVD and run Disk Utility.
