I am forming the MyLunsch 13!(I like the idea of calling ourselves the "Mylunsch Baker's Dozen").

We are meeting at the Cracker Barrel near my house at 6 pm tonight for a CrackerJeeb.

All that is required to attend is a 15 year old (or older) bottle of some rose or Orgeon Pinot Gris no one else would ever dare think of ageing. Alan Dershowitz will be there.

11 slots are still open!!!

Cracker Barrel! Eggs and Biscuits at 6 PM? Don't you live somewhere near Pedro?

And about the emoticons, I look at them like Egyptians look at locusts.

Salisbury steak and Valentini is where it's at with a CrackerJeeb.

I suspect I live not too far from several people named Pedro. Pedro who?

There's "freedom" and then there's just plain "bad taste."

Heck, I'm driving to Ohio tonight (after a mammoth tasting in Indy). I'll just pop on down while I'm about it. How far can it be, anyway?

I hear shiraz is good with mammoth.

Not that far, Mark. About 5.5 hrs. I'll put you down for a seat next to Alan.

I'm guessing you are driving in the "rouge" part of our misguided state, but you are welcome to stop by if you are in my area.

Travel safely,

Is this the Cracker Barrel on Indian Lake Blvd? If so, I know someone who's a curator at the Country Music Museum in Nashvegas and we could probably have figured out a way to have had Porter Waggoner attend the meeting. I know he kind of died a few years ago, but they did a really good taxidermy job on him and it wouldn't be that big of a deal to have him dropped off for an hour or two. They've cleaned up his Nudie suit (bright turquoise this month) pretty well and I'd be real honored if he were to be one of the Eden Mylunsch 13. Ernest Tubb too, but I think that his taxidermied remnants were scheduled to attend a Sa**h Pa**n party (no politics, right?) tonight in West Nashvegas so maybe with more notice he could be there for the next one. And maybe Roseanne Cash would wanna sing? I've heard that it's a really rockin' Cracker Barrel! And is the joint big enough to maybe bring Trigger out of the Roy Rogers Museum sometime?

Yup, heading to Dayton, off all places, so just following I-70 east. I was listening to talk radio out of your fair city, though. I also ran into Guttergirl at the tasting tonight.
