Flor Festival

The following arrived today for the dinner:

Annie et Philippe Bornard "les Marnes" Savagnin Ctes du Jura 2005

Unfortunately, I was unable to find any Bonard Savagnin for a comparison.

No, I haven't gotten an email from you lately, I don't think.

Also in, as of today:

1996 Causse Marines "Mysterre (Mystique)" Vin de Table, Gaillac, France

Which has more suspended sediment in it than perhaps any wine I have seen in lo' these many years.

I hope it acquits itself well. I think it spent about 4+ years sous voile. I don't know why the choice was made to end it there rather than keep it going to vin jaune territory. How it will do in amongst the rest
I could not begin to speculate.

Question to any of the attendees and/or hosts: the Lustau Almacenista Fino del Puerto...was that Jos de la Cuesta or Jos Luis Gonzlez Obregn? Or the non-Almacenista bottling?
