Just had an absolutely transcendent bottle of Arena with Matteo on Monday.
 
One thing I forgot to ask Laureano was why he likes to apply carbonic maceration on his Garnacha. I would have liked to heard his take.
 
Last night we downed a 2003 Pecia Crianza with alarming speed. Juicy, great acidity for the vintage, judicious dilli vanilli, balanced and satisfying.
