Favor for a Good Friend

I hate to be the contrarian voice here, but I really thought that the narrative arc was lacking in this effort, though his newbie status does perhaps accord him a little slack in this regard. That Sharon Bowman character, for instance, was entirely implausible and the SFJoe characterization was derivative of Rabelais. Still, it can be hoped that this Coad person learns from his early efforts and can come back with something truly original.

The Jamshead sounds interesting, I've liked the little I've had from the Yarra Valley (just Mt. Mary really).

Stem inclusion mimicking new oak influence is something that always throws me. I often get it with Dujac and more recently with Rhys.
