In which people get treated like wine

Just a little epiphanic side note to say that now, as well as keeping their wine in a well-cooled back room, Le Verre Vol has given a little thought to the temperature of its patrons and now has an air-conditioned dining room.

Also note that I did drink at least half a glass of water there, yesterday.

Air conditioning in Paris 10me!

The world is coming to an end.

This breach of French culture is more proof of the malignant nature of the 'natural wine' movement.

Great place just got greater. It was amusing, the time I went, how it was full even though there were always two or three empty tables. People would come in to ask if those were available and would leave sadfaced because the occupants were just having a smoke outside.

Glad you're drinking your water - we don't want you to dehydrate. How was the Ganevat?

Victor, The Chevaliers du Tastevin d'Amerique recently contributed a lot of money toward air conditioning the building at Clos Vougeot.
