Contemplating the subtle joys and awesomeness that is the '99 Verset or secretly flipping off the photog?

The slight smirk and hint of clever giddiness in his eyes should reveal that answer. I'm creating a photo album of all my friends giving me the bird. It's quite extensive.

Brad, when Jim starts sending out mailers/emails with Cowan Cellars allocations and you get a message stating that you're on the waiting list, you need not wonder why.

Larry,
Of course I understand your sentiment; the man has no discretion - but I am simply not like that. Brad will get his 786th allocation, just like he expected and I will honor that as though it were written on tablets.
Or something like that.
Oh, BTW, those pictures are of my Dad.
Best, Jim

2001 Hirtzberger, Riesling Singerriedel:
More acidic than the 2005 and not showing as well - although I am guessing its just the stage - Hold.

Damn. Got 2 bottles of this. Sure hope it comes around...

Assuming we are talking about (well stored bottles of) the smaragd, I think, based on Singerriedel's from the '70's and 80's, you'll find this wine to be still going strong in 2030 -- if your supply holds out.

A recent bottle of 2001 Hirtzberger Singerriedel was tremendous, and confirmed my belief that the 2001 is a tremendous, I dare say earth trembling, vintage for that wine.

Actually, I own a few bottles, too, so I think maybe Levi is right.
By some coincidence, I, too, own a couple more than a few. I hope that's not the only reason that I agree with Levi.

Seeing as the first picture was taken at my home Brad obviously doctored the film. To whom it may concern we do not wear gold chains in Napa that it is left to the natives of SO CA. I like Joe own a few bottles of the Hirtz 01 riesling and thought it was a little tighter but still developing. A great wine IMHO, because I own both vintages. By the way the 07 Hirtz riesling is not shabby either also in my cellar, thankfully.
I agree with Chris Coad that Kane's camera should be confiscated and given to The Goodwill where it may serve some sort of purpose.
These guys come to your house eat my wifes cooking like they were refugees from Uganda and never give her any credit. Our guest list could become shorter with all the other people clamoring for an invite.

You did notice her name above in my initial post, yes?
That is a list I'd like to stay on.
Best, Jim
