I have only tasted Le Bourg from 2000. While there is plenty to like about it, it doesn't even approach the brilliance of where the 2001 is going. Perhaps a scaled down analogy would work for the Clos. I have tasted the 2001, and thought it quite delicious already, although I am trying to hold my remaining bottles as it seems like it will improve.
Brad, 2001 Poyeaux is wonderful but not ready to drink (imho). Although to be fair I have not tasted in over a year. Had the opportunity to buy last summer and did not, which was foolish.
