And then there's the 07 Thevenet Morgon VV

Brett free, nice for early drinking or cellaring, not the most complex thing, but give me more!

Perfect with burgers after a day up Granite Mt.

Good Morgon is, I hear, and aging wine. Would you expect Thevenet to be complex within a couple of years of bottling?

Thanks for the note - latest in a distinguished series of notes on Beaujolais wines.

It is indeed an aging wine. I tend to like to give them at least 7-8 years. This one is unusually open for being a couple years old. Not sure how it will evolve, I would guess not a ton.

I should add this has a nice acid backbone which bodes well.
